How to invoice an order from a restaurant POS

From the order to payment and, when applicable, issuance of an electronic tax document.

Review the order before collecting payment

Check the table or direct sale, products, quantities, and adjustments. Correcting the bill before payment is easier than rebuilding it afterward.

Record the payment

Confirm the payment method and amount received in POS. The sale remains associated with the operation that originated it. For combined payments, confirm that the recorded total matches the bill.

Issue and verify the document

When the establishment must issue an electronic tax document, complete the recipient data and use the configured SRI workflow. Check the authorization status before treating the issuance as complete. Recording a payment alone does not produce an authorized document.

Keep the reference

Later access to XML and PDF helps address customer requests and investigate discrepancies. BestTables connects POS operations with the tax-document history.
